My Favorite Little Guy

This little fella is the gift that keeps on giving.

This cabinet was given to me by one of my favorite people in the whole world. Her name is Mrs. Charlotte and she is as sweet as her name sounds. 

I put this piece at the end of my hallway where it still resides and left it with it's crackled palm tree finish for years. The problem was that to the left is the doorway of a sweet yet verrry clumsy 11 year old boy. :)

You can imagine how many times this poor cabinet has had an unfortunate impact with tennis shoes, backpacks, toys, etc. 

So it was time to give it a facelift.

I used white and black paint and a black glaze for the crackle.

I even gave the candle a facelift :)

All done.

I was so happy to save this little cabinet and give it some pizazz again! It is perfect for storing my scentsy stuff inside.. and of course it is also perfect for storing all of the little things that I apparently like to hide from myself.
